Healthy Products——Futaste “L-Arabinose”

Over 1000 exhibitors from more than 20 countries attend the 2013 FIC at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center on Mar 26-28, communicating and creating more opportunities on functional food and healthy products. For its unique function, Futaste “L-Arabinose” has been the new favorite on healthy food during the exhibition.
As a low-calorie sweetener, Futaste “L-Arabinose” can selectively affect sucrase (digests sucrose) in small intestine, inhibiting the absorption of sucrose. Therefore, it can be widely used on the healthy products of weight-loss, diabetes control and hypertension, hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia relieving. The American Medical Association listed it as nutritional supplement for anti-obesity agents or nonprescription drug. In Japan, L-Arabinose has been evaluated by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare as a “Food for Specified Health Uses”.
